From highest ranking female police officer to new Senior Deputy Greffier. Meet Clare Cuthbert.
Clare Cuthbert retired as Acting Superintendent of the Guernsey Police in February 2020, intending to undertake a four month cycle journey around the world. But the coronavirus pandemic cut short her adventurous plans and in May she took up the post of Senior Deputy Greffier.
Clare will be responsible for the Court clerks and will manage the Court of Appeal. She will also be part of the digitalisation of Guernsey’s court system and will ensure equality for all users.
