There’s an important debate coming up in the States this month.
Deputies will be having their first discussion of the Government Work Plan which, once finalised in July, will determine which projects will (and won’t) be worked on in this States term.
The Plan is fundamental to the Island’s recovery after Covid and Brexit. It will involve difficult decisions and compromises and will affect us all.
To help you understand the Plan and follow its progress we’ve created a Government Work Plan resource page that brings together useful links, videos and media articles.
We’re also setting up a WhatsApp group for people who are interested in following the live debate together, either in the Public Gallery or remotely. Just send your name and phone number to hello@womeninpubliclife.gg to be included.
The debate was originally scheduled for 17 March but is has been delayed until after the States meeting scheduled for 24 March (so that it can happen in person).
