Are you aware of the Island Development Plan and its impact on your community?
Do you have a strong interest in, or professional experience of, property matters?
The States is looking for members of the public to join the Planning Panel to help decide appeals against planning decisions. And also the TRP Panel to help decide appeals against TRP assessments.
You’ll need to enjoy reviewing and analysing detailed documents. You’ll be making considered decisions as a team of three, based on the evidence and the law.
You are likely to be called upon once or twice a quarter (less for TRP). Two days of training will be provided.
