Guernsey’s Health Improvement Commission is looking for new voluntary Directors.
The Health Improvement Commission empowers, enables and encourages healthy living in Guernsey and Alderney. Their work spans four areas; Eat Well, Healthier Weight, Be Active and Substance Use. Alongside the project’s partners, they also lead on the delivery of Bailiwick Social Prescribing, an innovative approach to health and wellbeing, linking people to non-medical support.
The Commission is looking to recruit new Directors to its board, with a focus on health and social inequalities:
“In expanding our board we are particularly interested in building board experience, expertise and interest in health/social inequalities and the key role they play in the areas of health improvement in which we work”.
