Jersey Water is recruiting two non-exec directors, one of whom could be based outside of the island.
The company believes that people from different backgrounds bring perspectives and skills that create fresh ideas, thinking and approaches.
One of the non-execs will join the Audit Committee and needs to have strong financial awareness. The other needs to have expertise in either sustainability or people, culture and organisational change.
There are 8-10 board meetings a year which each last for 4-5 hours. Plus two or three all-day strategy/board visits. Fees for non-execs are £22,000 per annum.
