The Committee for Education, Sport and Culture is looking for an islander with governance experience to join as a non-voting member.
You’ll attend all of the committee’s meetings, reading the papers beforehand and playing a full part in discussions – you just won’t be able to vote.
You’ll essentially be volunteering your expertise to help Guernsey – but you will be paid £2,154 per annum as a contribution towards your time.
Eligibility criteria are the same as for a Deputy – you need to be 18 or over, on the electoral roll and have lived in Guernsey for two years, or for periods adding up to five years.
