Parish elections this Autumn

If you love the parish you live in and would like to get more involved in making sure it is well cared for, parish elections are being held on Wednesday 4 November 2026.

The vacancies were published in the Gazette Officielle in the Guernsey Press on Friday 9 October 2026 (view them here). The deadline for submitting your nomination form is Monday 26 October at 4pm.

If you are interested then now would be a good time to contact your Douzaine Room or Constables Office to find out more about the projects the parish is working on and what being a parish official involves.

There’s also plenty of information and videos on our ‘Douzenier and Constable’ page. And we’re always available to help you talk through whether it’s the right role for you and how the election process works. Just WhatsApp Shelaine on 07497 081126.
